About Me

For the past twenty five years, I have been delivering custom software and business intelligence solutions in a variety of industries.  I have been a developer,  analyst, data architect, testing manager, project manager, program manager and Agile coach.  I’ve had the privilege to work as consultant for companies such as  ThoughtWorks, Towers Perrin, Deloitte & Touche and Hyperion Software.  I recently started my next adventure as VP of Technology at Huge.

In the late nineties, I was part of a small consulting firm that specialized in project and program management, and I spent a great deal of time involved in project rescues.  It was in this context that I started experimenting with iterative life cycles, stand up meetings and breaking work into small, manageable chunks.  But it wasn’t until 2001 that I started becoming familiar with true Agile practices.  Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to not only to learn from some of the pioneers of the Agile movement, but to also explore the application of Agile to large-scale, distributed projects and in highly regulated environments.

I am currently the VP of Technology at Huge, where we are employing Agile techniques and innovative new technologies to build exciting new products for our clients.  When I am not working I am trying to spend as much of my time outdoors, with my family and our black lab Olga.
